Over the past two years, Works of Power has had the incredible privilege of serving the people of Nicaragua through heartfelt ministry, compassion, and tangible acts of love. From city dumps to remote rainforests, our mission team alongside our Nicaraguan partners, poured out their hearts to fulfill the Great Commandment: to love others. These experiences were filled with challenge, joy, healing, and the undeniable presence of the Holy Spirit.
Through children’s outreach, housing initiatives, medical missions, and elder care, we witnessed lives touched and transformed, ours included.
Community Development and Children’s Ministry
In the city of Estelí, our team ministered to families living and working in the city dump—offering prayers, hope, and essentials. In Jinogeta, we helped build low-income housing, providing safe, stable shelter for families in need. At every stop, our Good Samaritan Scholarship recipients played an active role, showing strong leadership and a deep desire to serve. The joy of connecting with children through creative ministry and play was a beautiful reminder of God’s heart for the little ones.

Medical Mission to the Mayan Region
In collaboration with AGWM missionary Rick Lopez, we journeyed deep into the rainforest of northern Nicaragua to serve the indigenous Mayan community. In just one day, our team treated over 350 patients bringing much needed medical care to a remote area often overlooked. It was a powerful and humbling experience, filled with prayer, healing, and the clear movement of the Holy Spirit. We were not only meeting physical needs but witnessing spiritual transformation.

Seniors Care Ministry
One of the most tender and touching parts of our mission was ministering to the elderly in local communities. Many of the seniors we met live in deep isolation or without the support of family. Through simple conversations, shared prayers, small gifts, and acts of care, we reminded them they are seen, valued, and deeply loved. These moments, often quiet and gentle, carried profound meaning. We felt honored to sit with them, hear their stories, and reflect God’s love in a way that restored dignity and brought comfort.
