Introduction
Since its founding, Works of Power has grown from a local outreach ministry into an international nonprofit organization serving communities through faith-based initiatives, scholarships, disaster relief, medical missions, and humanitarian outreach. Each milestone represents an opportunity to extend hope, demonstrate compassion, and empower individuals to reach their God-given potential.
Timeline
2004 – Works of Power was Incorporated
2006 – The Good Samaritan Scholarship was established in Los Angeles, California
2007 – Works of Power India Began
2009 – Skid Row, Los Angeles Outreach Began
2010 – Good Samaritan India was established
2011 – Tijuana, Mexico Ministry Began
2014 – Nepal Ministry Began
2017 – Relief team was sent to aid victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico
2018 – Nicaragua Ministry Opened
2019 – El Salvador Ministry Began
2020 – Financial aid was sent to WOP global partners in India, Nepal, Mexico, and Honduras due to the COVID-19 pandemic
2021 – Relief efforts were sent to victims of Hurricanes Ida and Iota in Honduras and Nicaragua
2022 – Good Samaritan Scholarship Nicaragua Began
2022 – Works of Power launched its first Medical Mission
2024 – Good Samaritan Scholarship Guatemala Began
2025 – Relief effort was conducted for Eaton Fire victims in Pasadena, California
